Home Groups
Home groups are the heart of Daybrook Baptist Church. We are committed to being more than simply a large group of people who gather together on a Sunday.
Small groups provide a more intimate setting to meet with friends, a place of support and encouragement, a place to know and be known.
All Home Groups vary, and meet on different days of the week to suit individual preferences. They are spread throughout the Daybrook/Arnold/Woodthorpe area. Each Home Group has a leader who is responsible for the running of the group. During a typical Home Group evening you might pray for each other, and have a time of sharing or teaching. Social evenings always play a major part in the Homegroup calander ranging from BBQs to Cheese and Wine parties, a chance to bring friends and family together.
Essentially they are a place where we can belong, receive pastoral care, grow in our faith and have fun.
How do I find a Home Group?
For further information about Home Groups and where they meet please speak to a church leader (identifiable by the badges they wear) after the Sunday Morning service.
