These pages contain information relevant to regular attenders and friends of Daybrook.
Help is still needed with the children's work - particularly in "Bubbles" (3-5 yr olds) on Sunday Mornings. See Wendy ASAP.
Teas/Coffees- Helen would appreciate more people to commit to doing teas/coffees on a rota basis.
Church Meetings - bullet points from the minutes of the last meeting are available to view on the notice board. Full minutes will be e-mailed to those members who have requested - if you would like hard/paper copy please see Lesley.
The next meetings are on the 21st April and 21st July.
A Prayer Day is being planned to start the New Year off in the right way. This will be on Saturday 30th January 2010. Church will be open for prayer from 9.30am with various activities to aid you in seeking God's will for us as individuals and as a Church. We hope to end the day with a time of worship and sharing in the evening from 7.30pm.
A soup lunch will be available between 12md and 1pm.
If anyone would like to organise a particular prayer activity for this day please speak to Helen Lloyd.
Prayer Evenings- Prayer will play an important part of each Church meeting, Connect meeting and,of course, Dynamic Prayer evening. These will take place on the third Wednesday of each month, starting at 7.30pm.
January 20th - Dynamic prayer with particular focus on Youth and our Young people.
Feb 24th - Church meeting/AGM
March 24th - Connect - Elaine
April 21st - Church meeting
May 26th - Dynamic Prayer -
June 23rd - Connect - Mark and Helen
July 21st - Church meeting
Sunday April 11th from 3pm - Afternoon Tea. Before Dave and Elaine go on Sabbatical they would like to invite members and friends to afternoon tea at Church.
The sabbatical will conclude at the beginning of July. During this time services will be lead by various church members and some guests. Pastoral issues will be covered by members of the Pastoral Team.
