Prayer & Worship

Prayer

We believe that prayer should be at the heart of everything we do.To that end we have a service specifically for prayer on the first Sunday of the month starting at 6pm.

Trained members of the prayer ministry team are available to pray with people at the end of every service.

A prayer chain operates between members to deal with any emergency situation that occurs concerning the church family or friends.

We are also developing a Prayer Room for use before each service and as required at other times.

If you feel a need for prayer that we could help you with please contact us here.

Worship

Music moves people. Music helps to connect in ways that other things cannot.

At Daybrook we use many different styles of sung worship, from traditional to contemporary, which aim to draw people close to God and encourage worshippers to move on in their faith and their relationship with Jesus.

Music in itself is not worship - it can lead you into worship.  Worship is an expression of your love of God.  Your attitude to life and what things are important to you are all reflections of your relationship with God and how you worship Him.
