Prayer
We believe that prayer should be at the heart of everything we do.To that end we have a service specifically for prayer on the first Sunday of the month starting at 6pm.
Trained members of the prayer ministry team are available to pray with people at the end of every service.
A prayer chain operates between members to deal with any emergency situation that occurs concerning the church family or friends.
We are also developing a Prayer Room for use before each service and as required at other times.

Worship
Music moves people. Music helps to connect in ways that other things cannot.
At Daybrook we use many different styles of sung worship, from traditional to contemporary, which aim to draw people close to God and encourage worshippers to move on in their faith and their relationship with Jesus.
Music in itself is not worship - it can lead you into worship. Worship is an expression of and a response to your love and knowledge of God. Your attitude to life and what things are important to you are all reflections of your relationship with God and how you worship Him.

The Youth of our church - that we would meet their needs in leadership and discipleship.
Our Community - that we would see their needs and be able to respond to them in love.
Our Leadership - that they would have Jesus' will at the centre of all their decisions.
All members and friends - that they would be know the Holy Spirit and His empowerment to be able to be a part of the Body of Christ. That they will be Kingdom focussed people - seeing the big picture of what God is doing in this world -responding to it locally, nationally and internationally.
